SinErgy:
Joy Basu's electronica CD has something for electronic
and guitar fans. This CD has today's hottest trance, house,
techno, breakbeats, and a touch of industrial edge. Trancey,
guitar tones and effects with spiral, forward, backwards
guitar lines like you have never heard before. Moody trippy
melodies that will take you to another reality, while
the thumpin' high energy will release enough adrenaline
to make you pump and grind for days. Stylistically this
is truly one of the first of its kind. Music from this
CD has recieved airplay and been licensed to soundtracks,
compilation CDs, and GIT for teaching recording techniques.
For those die hard shred fans, no worries there are plenty
of jaw dropping rippin' leads to check out.
On
June 28, 1996, Basu got signed to Bandai Music in Japan
to do his 1st full length instrumental CD. This self-titled
CD was performed and produced by Joy Basu. "Its kind
of a sampler of what's to come," describes Basu.
The CD consists of funky rhythms, bluesy licks, industrial
headaches, and last but not least, total shred. Joy's
CD was released in Japan on December 16, 1996. As of September
1, 1997, Inner Groove Production has released the same
CD worldwide for about half the Japanese price.
